I like the convenience and taste of Bisquick and I use the Heart Smart variety. This is a recipe from my grandma's collection; of course she did have the newer variety available, but I find that it works just as well in these older recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 14 ounces pizza sauce
  • 3 1/2 ounces sliced pepperoni ( can also use sausage or ground beef)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella or italian blend cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoon mrs. dash italian blend seasoning

How To Make grilled pizza with bisquick crust

  • Step 1
Mix Bisquick, salt, and water into a soft dough. Turn dough onto floured surface and gently roll into ball. Knead 5 times.
  • Step 2
Divide dough into 4ths. Roll each 4th into about an 8 inch circle.
  • Step 3
Place dough on grill over medium coals and cook 8 min.(I lightly wipe the grill grate with olive oil..very lightly) Turn and spread with sauce. Then top with meat, cheese, and seasonings.
  • Step 4
Cook another 12-15 min. until edges are brown.
