I always have baking mix and canned green chilies on hand, and they come in handy when making this tasty quiche-like pie. This makes a nice brunch dish and can be served with a nice side salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup baking mix
  • 2 cans mild chopped green chilies (4 oz each)
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make green chili and cheese pie

  • Step 1
    Mix together the milk, eggs, and baking mix with a mixer until nice and smooth. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a prepared glass pie plate, sprinkle the green chilies and cheese over the bottom.
  • Step 3
    Pour milk mixture over the cheese and chilies.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until a knife, inserted in the center, comes out clean. Cool for approximately 10 minutes before serving.
