Gourmet Grilled Cheese

Teressa Drenth

"Our family loves the "feel good" meal of grilled cheese and tomato soup, but I was looking for something a little more, shall we say, fancy? I came up with this recipe when I had some leftover dip mix still in the refrigerator and thought it might taste good between potato bread and toasted. After a couple of enhancements the Gourmet Grilled Cheese was born. Enjoy!"

Blue Ribbon Recipe

It's fun to see how people can take a basic sandwich and make it into something extraordinary! The blend of cheeses is lovely in this grilled cheese. I really liked the chives in the sandwich. I chose to use Hawaiian bread and it was perfect. Make a batch of the cheese mix to keep in your fridge. Then you'll have a quick & easy sandwich! The Test Kitchen
