I always loved chicken tenders, so I created this recipe with a style from Louisiana Cowboy meals. It is great on po-boy sandwiches.

Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 3/4 cup honey barbecue sauce
- 1 cup blue cheese dressing
- 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 3/4 cup jalapeno pickling liquid
- 6 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into tenders
- 3 teaspoons Creole seasoning
- 3 cups crushed barbecue potato chips
How To Make louisiana cowboy chicken tenders

Step 1In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, buttermilk, barbecue sauce, blue cheese dressing, red pepper flakes, and jalapeno pickling liquid; whisk together until blended.

Step 2Season chicken tenders with Creole seasoning.

Step 3Place chicken tenders into the heavy cream mixture; mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Marinate for 4 hours.

Step 4Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Coat with cooking spray.

Step 5Take the chicken tenders out the bowl of buttermilk mixture into a large Ziploc bag.

Step 6Add crushed barbecue potato chips to the bag of chicken tenders. Seal and shake the bag to coat it thoroughly.

Step 7Remove from the bag; place on prepared baking sheet.

Step 8Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear; about 15 minutes.
