The Elfin was getting pressure to create a Sammie of the week so here it is!!!! Hope you all like it!

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 2 slice
    rye bread
  • 4 slice
    swiss cheese
  • 3 slice
    bacon, encrusted in crushed potato chips, baked in a 350 oven until crisp.
  • ·
    enough pear slices to cover bread, fresh bosc pear peeled
  • ·
    salt and peppet to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    mayo
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp
    lingonberry preserves
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    toasted slivered almonds

How to Make Fancy Nancy's Pear, Bacon and Swiss Sammie, with Lingonberry Mayo

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix mayo and jam together. Spread on both slices of bread. Add almonds on top of mayo mixture on both sides. Assemble the rest of the ingredients on the bread. Close sammie and butter the outside of each side. Grill until cheese in melted and bread is golden.
