I bought a hot dog at the deli in my local grocery store. The styrofoam box was labeled "chili with onion." Well, when I got the thing home and opened it up I decided it wasn't fit to eat. So, of course, I doctored it up and made it palatable. I will keep this recipe handy for when in a moment of weakness and hunger I buy another hard, tasteless deli dog.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Well, this isn't the prettiest hot dog in the world, but it is one of the tastiest. It may sound strange, but it's truly delicious. Adding eggs and Sriracha on top of the chili dog definitely turned a deli dog into something special. You can easily make this with your favorite canned chili and hot dogs... you don't need to specifically buy a deli dog. Simply cook the hot dog, warm up your chili, sprinkle with onion and then top with the egg and Sriracha. This recipe brings chili dogs to a whole new level of yumminess.
