I use my leftover mashed potatoes to do this but I will give you guys the recipe as I got it. It is tasy and easy.

Ingredients

  • 6 large
    potatoes, peeled, chopped, boiled and made into mashed potatoes
  • 1 1/2 lb
    hamburger, cooked and drained
  • 1 jar(s)
    beef flavored gravy, the large one
  • 1/4 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    sage
  • 3/4 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1
    onion small

How to Make Easy Shepards Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Spread hamburger on bottom of 13 x 9 baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle onion on top of the hamburger.
  4. Pour gravy over burger and onion.
  5. Sprinkle on top of the gravy the rosemary, pepper, sage and thyme.
  6. Spread the mashed potatoes on top of that.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top of the potatoes.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until gravy is bubbly and cheese is melted.
