working fulltime and raising kids I needed meals that were good,easy and healthy,this is one I came up with

Ingredients

  • 1 - sliced onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2=4 cloves garlic or more if you like
  • 1 - red bell pepper chopped or sliced
  • 4-6 - links of garlic sausage or if you prefer turkey sausage
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 can green beans drained

How To Make easy sausage supper

  • Step 1
    warm olive oil in large skillet,add onions and bell pepper,cook until beginning to soften
  • Step 2
    add garlic,but careful not to burn or it becomes bitter
  • Step 3
    Start water for rice-use whatever rice you like-quick cooking is fastest
  • Step 4
    Add sausage sliced into about 1/2 pieces and ad to pan,let brown
  • Step 5
    Add can of tomatoes and green beans let simmer for about 10minutes
  • Step 6
    salt and pepper to taste,place 1/2 cup rice on plate and add sausage mix,
  • Step 7
    Serve with salad and crusty bread
