In that recipe it was called "Door Slammer Chicken" & cooked in the oven on 375 for 1 1/2 hours.
How to Make Door Slammer Ribs.
- Mix russian dressing, dry soup mix, & apricot preserves together in slow cooker. Will be thick & gooey.
- Slide meat(ribs, chicken, pork chops etc) into goo to completely submerge the pieces. Country ribs are the best!
Cover & cook on LOW for 8 or HIGH for 4
- Serve with mashed potatoes or mac & cheese & a veggie. If you want to you can add the "juice" to the mashed potatoes. (like gravy) YUMMY!
