1Coat pan with cooking spray. Add venison, and brown, stirring to crumble. Remove and drain, cover and keep warm.
Spray pan again and cook the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and jalapeno until tender, stirring frequently. Stir in chili powder and next 4 ingredients. Add venison, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and tomato paste, stirring until well combined; bring to a slow boil. Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.
2Optional - Add red kidney beans and Red pepper cook, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes.
