Ingredients
- 1 pound ground venison
- 1 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 - jalapeno, fresh, seeded and chopped
- 2 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin (ground)
- 1 can diced tomatoes, do not drain
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can tomato paste
How To Make damn good chili

Step 1Coat pan with cooking spray. Add venison, and brown, stirring to crumble. Remove and drain, cover and keep warm. Spray pan again and cook the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and jalapeno until tender, stirring frequently. Stir in chili powder and next 4 ingredients. Add venison, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and tomato paste, stirring until well combined; bring to a slow boil. Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.

Step 2Optional - Add red kidney beans and Red pepper cook, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes.
