Ingredients
- 2 packages uncooked bratwurst links (10 links)
- 8-10 - red skinned potatoes - washed & cut in half
- 1 package fresh sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
- 2 - apples - cored & chopped
- 1 - medium onion chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup beer
- 1 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1 teaspoon salt ( optional)
How To Make crock pot brats

Step 1In a large skillet brown bratwurst on all sides. Drain on paper towels & cut into bite size pieces

Step 2If desired saute onion in brat drippings

Step 3Combine all ingredients in the crock pot, placing vegetables on the bottom. Cover & cook on high 4-6 hours or until potatoes & apples are tender.
