Ingredients

  • 1 cup cubed cornbread
  • 2 cups cubed dried whole wheat bread, crusts removed
  • 1 can cooked chopped ham
  • 3/4 cup chopped smoked kielbasa
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 3 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons creole seasoning or tony's
  • 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups reduce-sodium chicken broth

How To Make creole stuffing

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In large bowl, combine cornbread, bread cubes, ham, kielbasa, bell pepper, celery, onion, Creole seasoning and eggs; mix well. Stir in broth; mix well.
  • Step 3
    Transfer mixture to casserole. Cover and bake 60 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
