Ingredients For creole stuffing

  • 1 c
    cubed cornbread
  • 2 c
    cubed dried whole wheat bread, crusts removed
  • 1 can
    cooked chopped ham
  • 3/4 c
    chopped smoked kielbasa
  • 1/2 c
    chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 c
    chopped celery
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    creole seasoning or tony's
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    reduce-sodium chicken broth

How To Make creole stuffing

    Heat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.

    In large bowl, combine cornbread, bread cubes, ham, kielbasa, bell pepper, celery, onion, Creole seasoning and eggs; mix well. Stir in broth; mix well.

    Transfer mixture to casserole. Cover and bake 60 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
