Just the name of this recipe says comfort! The kraut and kielbasa are delicious together.... a delightful surprise, indeed!

Ingredients
-
1 pkgsmall bag in refrigeration section of sauerkraut drained

1small carrot shredded

1small onion diced
-
1ring of smoked kielbasa sliced into circles or diced however you like

1large onion sliced

1/2½ jigger of vodka (or not)

4 ozsour cream
-
1slice of fatback can get this in supermarket need a small amount for frying the sauerkraut mixture.or 2 slices of bacon then after cooked chop up and leave in pan
How to Make Creamy Kielbasa/Kraut Surprise
- In a large frying pan, on med hi heat add your fatback, then add sauerkraut, shredded carrot and sm onion…cook till translucent and soft. Add your Kielbasa and stir till cooked, add the large onion and the vodka and cook till onions are translucent. Once all incorporated and cooked lower the gas to med/low and add the sour cream...cook till cream is nice an soft and creamy throughout the pan. Mix well and lower to simmer to get the favors all combined..Serve! ENJOY!
