Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon onion, grated
- 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
- 1/8 pound margarine
- 1 pound backfin crab meat (pick through to remove shells)
- 4 slices bread, cubed and toasted
- 4 - eggs, hardboiled & chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- - salt & pepper to taste
- - crushed cornflakes & shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make crab casserole

Step 1Saute onion & green pepper in margarine. Lightly toss with the remaining ingredients and pour into a large greased baking dish.

Step 2Sprinkle the crushed cornflakes and cheddar cheese on top.

Step 3Cover and refrigerate dish for 24 hrs. Remove from refrigerator 45 minutes before baking. In the meantime, preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes. This is so good with crusty bread. Enjoy.
