Ingredients
- 1 box jiffy cornbread mix (or your favorite brand, i'm from the south, so jiffy is the way i go)
- 1 can cream corn
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 can green chili (small can)
- 2 cups shredded cheese
How To Make cornbread casserole

Step 1Brown the hamburger and season with salt, pepper (your taste) drain meat, add green chili (optional) and set aside. Sometimes I brown the meat with chopped onion.

Step 2Make the cornbread according to the directions and add 1/2 can of the cream corn. Mix it and in a sprayed casserole dish add half the cornbread mixture. Top it with the hamburger mixture and add remainder of cream corn. On top of the corn add the cheese (save a little for the top, if you like). Top it off with the remainder of the cornbread mixture and add the rest of the cheese (if you want).

Step 3Put into a 350 degree oven and bake until the cornbread is golden brown. Serve it with a salad and you're done! The beauty of this casserole, is that you can add whatever you like to it and it will always taste good. Enjoy!
