Ingredients
- 16 ounces frozen spinach thawed and squeezed to drain well
- 2 bunches flat leaf parsley chopped
- 1 large yellow onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 large eggs
- 10 1/2 ounces feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 16 ounces package fillo dough thawed
- 1 1/2 cups olive oil
How To Make classic spanakopita

Step 1Mix the first 10 ingredients together in a bowl and set aside. Preheat oven 350 degrees Prepare a 9x 15 pan by brushing with olive oil Line the baking dish with 2 sheets of fillo paper pressing them up the sides. Brush with Olive oil. Add two more sheets and brush with olive oil. Continue to add two sheets at a time and brushing with olive oil until 2/3 of the dough is used up.

Step 2Place the filling in the pan and bring the sides of the dough over the edges. Add two more sheets of dough to the top and brush with olive oil. Finally add the last two sheets of Fillo dough and brush with olive oil

Step 3Bake for 1 hour. Enjoy.
