I started with Keto ingredients for a beanies chili. I added the can of kidney beans to serve at our "At the State Fair" meeting to make it more chili-like for all the non-keto folks.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
  • 1/2
  • 3 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 c
    bone broth
  • 15 oz
    can of fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 can(s)
    rotel tomatoes & chilis
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans, canned

How to Make Chili at The Fair!


  1. Dice the onion and sauté it in a pan with 1 tbsp olive oil
  2. Add the ground beef and sausage until brown
  3. Add Onion and meat to slow cooker. Add all other ingredients and stir.
  4. Turn on Slow Cooker on low and cook for at least 4 hours.
  5. Serve warm with slice scallions or shredded cheese or sour cream.
