1 Tbspolive oil

1 mdonion, chopped

1 mdjalapeno, seeded and chopped

1 Tbspgrated, ginger

3 clovegarlic, minced

1 tspGaram Marsala

1 tspcumin
-
1 tspMadars curry powder
-
1/2 tspsmoked paprika

3 Tbsptomato paste
-
2 canfire-roasted tomatoes (15 oz each)

1 cvegetable broth
-
1 canchickpeas, drained and rinsed (15 oz)

1 ccoconut cream
-
0salt and pepper, to taste

0fresh cilantro, for garnish
How To Make chickpea tikki masala

1In a large pot, add the oil. Add the onions and jalapenos and cook 5 minutes. Add the ginger and garlic and cook 2 more minutes. Stir in the seasonings. and tomato paste. Cook 1 minute.

2Place the tomatoes in a food processor and blitz for 1 minute. Add them to the pot with the vegetable broth. Bring to a low boil and reduce the heat, and cook 10 minutes.

3Add the chickpeas and coconut cream. Cook 5 more minutes. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper.

4Serve over rice or by itself. Garnish with cilantro.
