Ingredients
- 1 - bag of ore ida steam 'n mash russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 pound velveeta, cubed
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1 pound kielbasa or smoked sausage
How To Make cheesy kielbasa potato casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Cut kielbasa (or sausage) in half lengthwise, then chop into 1/2" half-moon cuts. Brown in a frying pan over medium heat for about 10 minutes, turning frequently.

Step 2Microwave your bag of Steam 'N Mash for 10 minutes.

Step 3When the meat is browned, and the potatoes are done, combine in a 2-quart casserole dish.

Step 4Mix all remaining ingredients (except for shredded sharp cheddar) into a saucepan. Whisk constantly over medium heat until warm, melted, and smooth.

Step 5Pour cheese sauce over the meat/potato mixture.

Step 6Sprinkle evenly with sharp cheddar. Bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Enjoy!
