Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp Panko bread crumbs
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups favorite spaghetti sauce
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

How To Make cheese stuffed chicken parmesan meatballs

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Add the meat to a large bowl. Add the seasoning, egg and 2 Tbsp Panko.
  • Step 2
    Roll the meat into balls.
  • Step 3
    Poke one cube of cheese into the center of each ball.
  • Step 4
    Roll the balls in the remaining Panko.
  • Step 5
    Add the olive oil to a frying pan and brown the meatball in batches, if necessary.
  • Step 6
    Place on a baking sheet and bake about 20 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Warm the sauce and place the meatballs in the sauce and top with Parmesan cheese.
