Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    bacon
  • l lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 can(s)
    drained butter beans (15 oz can)
  • 1 can(s)
    drained kidney beans (15 oz can)
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    ketcup
  • 1 Tbsp
    vingear
  • 1 can(s)
    drained green beans (15 oz can)
  • 1 can(s)
    baked beans undrained (15 oz can)

How to Make CALICO BEANS

Step-by-Step

  1. FAST Fry bacon and crumble. Brown ground beef (Drain if necessary.) Then add all other ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  2. My favorite way of doing them.........

    Fry bacon and crumble.
    Brown beef in bacon grease. Drain.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Put into casserole.
    Bake for 45--60 minutes at 325^ until desired thickness.
  3. You can add various beans to this recipe....black beans, pinto beans, cranberry beans etc.
