Ingredients For cajun sausage & beans

  • 1 pkg
    smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 lg
    green bell pepper-diced
  • 1 md
    onion-diced
  • 2 can
    chili hot beans-with juice (can use just chili beans for less heat)
  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked minute rice

How To Make cajun sausage & beans

    In saucepan, cook rice as directed on package. Set aside.
  • 2
    In dutch oven, on medium heat, saute the green pepper, onion, chili beans, & sausage until the veggies are soft. (No need for oil the juice from the beans provides enough moisture).

    Add the rice to the sausage mixture until combined. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
