Ingredients

  • 1 package smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper-diced
  • 1 medium onion-diced
  • 2 cans chili hot beans-with juice (can use just chili beans for less heat)
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked minute rice

How To Make cajun sausage & beans

  • Step 1
    In saucepan, cook rice as directed on package. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In dutch oven, on medium heat, saute the green pepper, onion, chili beans, & sausage until the veggies are soft. (No need for oil the juice from the beans provides enough moisture).
  • Step 3
    Add the rice to the sausage mixture until combined. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
