Ingredients

2 c
instant rice (i prefer uncle ben's. regular rice wont work for this recipe)
2 c
water
1 pkg
frozen brocolli crown cuts
3/4 lb
fresh sliced button mushrooms
2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 stick
butter or margerine
12 oz
jar of cheeze whiz
salt to taste
2 Tbsp
butter or margerine

How to Make Brocolli And Rice Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place instant rice and water in 3 quart casserole dish. Salt to taste. Dot with butter or margerine.
  • 2Top with one can of the mushroom soup.
  • 3Layer the broccoli and sliced mushrooms evenly over previous ingredients.
  • 4Add the 2nd can of mushroom soup over the broccoli and mushrooms
  • 5Top with the Cheese Whiz, spread evenly.
  • 6Cover and bake in preheated 375F degree oven for about 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake for about 15 more minutes or until cheese starts to brown.
  • 7Serve and enjoy.
