2 cinstant rice (i prefer uncle ben's. regular rice wont work for this recipe)
1 pkgfrozen brocolli crown cuts
3/4 lbfresh sliced button mushrooms
2 can(s)cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 stickbutter or margerine
12 ozjar of cheeze whiz
·salt to taste
2 Tbspbutter or margerine
How to Make Brocolli And Rice Casserole
- Place instant rice and water in 3 quart casserole dish. Salt to taste. Dot with butter or margerine.
- Top with one can of the mushroom soup.
- Layer the broccoli and sliced mushrooms evenly over previous ingredients.
- Add the 2nd can of mushroom soup over the broccoli and mushrooms
- Top with the Cheese Whiz, spread evenly.
- Cover and bake in preheated 375F degree oven for about 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake for about 15 more minutes or until cheese starts to brown.
- Serve and enjoy.
