I am sharing my chili mix with my "FAMILY". I worked on many pots of chili before I came up with this recipe. You can double, triple---etc. This batch will make about 1-1/2 cups. For a one pound of meat, you will need 2 tbsp. more if you want more chili and spicy flavor, less if you don't.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons oregano, dried
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt or salt (i used sea salt)
  • 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes

How To Make bobby's chili seasoning mix

  • Step 1
Clean and thoroughly dry a glass or plastic container with an air-tight lid for storing the chili seasoning mix. Make sure the container is completely dry before mixing your chili mix because moisture will cause the mix to mold.
  • Step 2
Mix together all ingredients, using a fork to break up lumps and ensure all spices and seasonings are well blended. Put in container, and store in a pantry or a dark place.
