Ingredients
- 1. 4-5 pounds whole chicken
- 1. 16 ounces can of beer
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
How To Make beer-can chicken (for the oven)

Step 1Preheat your oven to 325°

Step 2Line a roasting pan with foil, pour half of the can of beer in the bottom of the roasting pan.

Step 3Place the beer can in the center of your roasting pan.

Step 4If applicable, remove the giblet package from inside the Chicken, and rinse the bird inside and out.

Step 5Carefully place the chicken over the beer can, and slide bird down over the can and use its legs to prop your chicken up.

Step 6Combine all your spices in a bowl, rub the chicken down with your olive oil, then rub on your seasonings.

Step 7Place your chicken in the oven and bake for 3 hours or until your bird reaches an internal temp. of 165.

Step 8Remove your bird from your oven and let your chicken rest 10 minutes before carving.

Step 9Sit, eat, relax, and enjoy.
