Modified from a recipe found online. Family loves it. Use more beer to make a thinner, tempura type batter.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour (plus more for pre dipping food)
  • 2 c. favorite beer
  • 2 eggs beaten with ½ cup water or beer

How To Make beer batter for chicken, fish, veggies...

  • Step 1
    Whisk together flour, beer and beaten eggs. Season the batter to taste. (salt, pepper, onion or garlic salt)
  • Step 2
    Dredge food in flour, then dip in batter.
  • Step 3
    Deep fry in oil at about 365* to 375* until golden brown.
