This recipe came from a famous New Orleans restaurant. BBQ Shrimp are not typical BBQ on the grill...... don't kow why it's called BBQ but I know it's great. It took me a while to talk the chef out of the recipe!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp, unpeeled
- 1 stick butter
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- - salt,pepper and louisiana red hot sauce to taste.
- - fresh whole parsley leaves to garnish
How To Make cajun bbq shrimp

Step 1Mix all inhgredients except fresh parsley leaves in a large casserole dish.

Step 2Bake in a 400 degree oven, stirring occasionally, unti shrimp turn pink. Remove immediately, garish with parsley and serve hot. A loaf of French bread goes very well with it to sop up the gravy!
