How to Make Barbecued Lamb Shanks
- Brown the shanks in oil in a heavy pot or dutch oven. Pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours, spooning some of the sauce over the meat several times during the cooking. If desired, shanks can be baked, covered, in the oven (350) for about 2 hours.
- These are really good served with rice.
