Ingredients

  • 1 - (4 #) beef chuck roast
  • 1 - stalk celery..chopped
  • 2 large onions..chopped
  • 1 - green pepper..chopped
  • 1 - (14oz) bottle of catsup
  • 3 tablespoons b-b-q sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups water

How To Make barbecued beef for sandwiches

  • Step 1
    Cut away all fat from meat. Put in a large roasting pan,mix other ingredients. Spoon over beef.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 325 for 5 hours or until beef is tender enough to shred. Watch to be sure it isn't cooking to quickly.
