peanut oil
lamb loin chops trimmed
2 small
brown onions sliced thinly
1/2 c
peanut butter, crunchy
1/4 c
sweet chile sauce
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
2/3 c
coconut milk, unsweetened
3/4 c
2 Tbsp
fresh coriander (cilantro)
cooked rice

How to Make Balinese Lamb Chops


  • 1Heat oil in large frying pan; cook lamb until browned and cooked as desired.
  • 2Remove lamb from pan; drain excess fat from pan. Add onion to pan; cook stirring until browned.
  • 3Add peanut butter, chile sauce, lemon juice, and combined coconut milk and water, cook, stirring, until sauce thickens slightly. Return lamb to pan, coat with sauce. Serve sprinkled with coriander.
