Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 12 - lamb loin chops trimmed
  • 2 small brown onions sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter, crunchy
  • 1/4 cup sweet chile sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander (cilantro)
  • - cooked rice

How To Make balinese lamb chops

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in large frying pan; cook lamb until browned and cooked as desired.
  • Step 2
    Remove lamb from pan; drain excess fat from pan. Add onion to pan; cook stirring until browned.
  • Step 3
    Add peanut butter, chile sauce, lemon juice, and combined coconut milk and water, cook, stirring, until sauce thickens slightly. Return lamb to pan, coat with sauce. Serve sprinkled with coriander.
