Prepare the hens ahead of time put in the refrigerator, and when you get home from work, preheat to 350 degrees oven. Let the hens come to room temperature pop it in the oven and bake 1 hour.

4 - cornish hens
1 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 cup butter
2 - garlic cloves pressed
2 tablespoons lemon juice

How To Make baked cornish hens

Step 1

Rub hens with butter

Step 2

Combine other ingredients, and use to baste hens.
Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Basting with lemon mixture every 10 minutes.
Step 4

If serving with rice, Spoon remaining lemon mixture over rice.
