My sister made these for a big group of us after watching the Tour of California Cycling Race finish in Thousand Oaks, CA. She got it from a Camping Cookbook. They were a huge hit!!!

Ingredients

1 package bun length all-beef hot dogs
1 - onion, chopped
1 package bacon, uncooked
1 package hot dog buns

How To Make bacon wrapped bbq dogs

Step 1

Make slit in each hot dog, lengthwise.

Step 2

Chop onions and stuff into hot dog.
Step 3

Wrap one piece of bacon around hot dog. Refrigerate a short time for bacon to chill and attach to hot dog.
Step 4

BBQ til bacon is cooked and hot dog is grilled! Serve on buns with condiments. So Yummy!!!
