  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons garlic (minced)
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 bottle Coca-Cola (20 oz)

  • 2 1/2 cups basmati rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 pinches chicken broth powder

How To Make aunt squishy's coke balls over basil basmati

  • Step 1
Combine everything from the Coke Balls ingredients list except for the meatballs in the Crock Pot and stir thoroughly.
  • Step 2
Add the meatballs and stir (if you can, if not it's ok).
  • Step 3
Turn the Crock Pot on and start cooking on low for 4-6 hours (they will be done in 4, but can continue cooking on low for up to 6 if you need more time before serving). Stir thoroughly after 2-3 hours when the meatballs have cooked down enough that you can. Stir again an hour later to balance flavor.
  • Step 4
20 minutes before serving time, combine all of the basil basmati ingredients in your rice cooker, turn on, and cook per normal.
  • Step 5
When the rice is done fluff it, dish it, and top with a healthy spoonful of Coke Balls (give them one more good stir to evenly distribute the mushrooms, onions, and peas). Be sure to scoop from the bottom to get a small drizzle of the cooking liquid over each bowl, and serve.
