all american grand slam chili dog
This is a way to spice up hot dog night !! I got inspiration from a hamburger at a local sports bar that they call a hangover burger with bacon , onions and an egg over easy. I made it into a chili dog with a little twist instead. This has lots of layers of goodness. I thought about using french fries instead of hash browns but I had a bag of hash browns on hand so feel free to get creative. We loved this and hope you do too.

Ingredients
- 1 - cooked hot dog of your choice
- 1 can hot dog chili without beans(i like wolf brand)
- - mustard to taste
- 1 - hot dog bun
- 1 bag frozen hashbrown(cooked with a little oil)
- 1 small onion
- 2 slices cooked bacon per hotdog
- 1 tablespoon shredded cheese of your choice
- 1 - egg cooked over easy per hot dog
- dash tabasco (or hot sauce of your choice)
- - salt and pepper to taste

Step 1Cook hot dogs to your liking ..grill, boil or steam. I boiled these

Step 2Heat hot dog Chili

Step 3Cook Hashbrowns in a little oil

Step 4Saute' onions

Step 5Cook an egg over easy...salt and pepper to taste

Step 6Cook bacon ( precooked bacon heated up in the microwave is super easy)

Step 7Place hot dog in a bun with a little mustard to taste

Step 8Top this with a little chili

Step 9Then top this with a little bit a prepared hasbrowns

Step 10Top the hasbrowns with a little cheese

Step 11Then top with a little more chili and then prepared onion

Step 12Top with two pieces of cooked bacon

Step 13Top this with prepared egg and a few dashes of Tabasco
