Well, again its my moms, but who better to learn from than Grandma.. mom would make this.. and it was a devine tart dish.. and so tasty,,, i love something tart..

- 2 pounds link sausage.. eckrich polska
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 medium chopped onions
- 3 sprigs chopped celery
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 3 cups cooked rice
How To Make a sausage in tomato gravy

Step 1Cut sausage into 1-2 inch links and cut into half.. like a butterfly or completely in half (easier) fry in about 3 Tablespoons of vegetable oil till browned and turning them over.. remove from pan to get them all done..

Step 2Then add to pan the onion and celery and cook till wilted not too much, add tomato sauces and water.. and garlic and onion powders allow to cook down and reduce a tad till rethickened add sausage back and allow to simmer for at least 30 minutes.. then serve over rice..
