Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 can tomatoe sauce
- 2 teaspoons chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 medium green bell peppers with caps sliced off
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 package low fat cheddar cheese
- 2 medium tomatoes cut up in small pieces
- 1 small container of fat free sour cream
How To Make taco stuffed peppers

Step 1Cook ground Meat and Onion in a skillet sprayed with Olive oil cooking spray

Step 2Add Tomatoe sauce, and herbs and kidney beans, cook thoroughly

Step 3Meanwhile steam the peepers (or you can eliminate this step and just bake, I like to pre -cook the peppers for a head start)

Step 4Stuff Each pepper with meat mixture

Step 5Place into a pan lightly sprayed with olive oil spray and bake at 350 degrees for approx. 20 minutes

Step 6Serve with toppings and Enjoy a very healthy meal..Salad on the side goes nicely.
