I love making this dish during Super Bowl Sunday because EVERYBODY loves it and you don't need a spoon to eat it, you just use the "scoops" tortilla chips to scoop it into your mouth!!!:)

Ingredients For taco soup

  • 2 lbs.
    ground beef
  • l lg
    onion
  • 1 can
    corn
  • 2-14 oz. can
    kidney beans, canned
  • 1-14 oz. can
    tomato sauce
  • 1-28 oz. can
    crushed tomatos
  • 15 oz.
    water
  • 3 pkg.
    taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 lb.
    velveeta cheese
  • 1 pkg.
    ranch style dressing mix
  • 1 c
    sour cream

How To Make taco soup

  • 1
    Start by cooking your hamburger and diced onion together over med. heat until done. When your hamburger is done, add one packet of taco seasoning to meat. Do not add water.

    While the hamburger is cooking open all cans and empty them into a crock pot over high heat. also add water. note: add liquid from cans also.

    When the meat is done add it to the crock pot and cook for 2 hrs. over high heat or until it comes to simmmer. Add velveeta cheese, ranch dressing mix, 2 pkg.'s taco seasoning mix, and sour cream, mix until cheese is melted then turn to low and it's ready to surve...:)
