My dear friend Michael made this for our Bunco group and it is awesome. She was kind enough to share this recipe.

I've made this several times for my family and they loved it. Feeds a crowd!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2 can(s)
    hominy ( i use white shoepeg corn) drained
  • 1 can(s)
    chopped green chilis
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans
  • 2 can(s)
    rotell
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes w/onions
  • 1 pkg
    ranch style dressing mix
  • 2 can(s)
    ranch style beans

How to Make Taco Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown beef in dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients.

    Simmer on medium heat. Serve when hot.
  2. Top with tortilla chips, sour cream, shredded cheese, cilantro, and/or scallions if desired. I've also added black olives.
