  • 1
    bag taco dorito chips
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 small
    carton of cottage cheese (8ounces)
  • 1 small
    carton cottage cheese (8ounces)
  • 2-3 c
    cheddar and monterey jack cheese combined
  • 1 large
    can ripe olives, sliced
  • 1- 8 oz
    can tomato sauce

How to Make Taco Bake


  1. Crush taco chips into the size you want. Place in greased cake pan (9x13). Brown hamburger and onion til hamburger is browned. Add tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix. Pour mixture over taco chips.
  2. Spread a layer of cottage cheese. Spread a layer of sour cream over that.
  3. Sprinkle over the top with cheese(s). I usually just use cheddar. Top with sliced olives and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  4. *****I have used tortilla chips instead of the taco chips, but it doesn't have the same yummy, spicy-ness.
