Ingredients
- 4 - pablanos
- 2 cups rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 medium yellow onions
- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 2 cups sharp cheddar or new velveta chipolte cheese, a cup
- 1 cup sour cream
- - optional canned corn and or black beansc
How To Make spicy spanish rice

Step 1Pop Pablano peppers in to oven and roast high for half an hour (until skin blisters). Place in a plastic bag to sweat off the skin. Put aside.

Step 2Brown sausage and put aside. For more flavor taco seasoning can be added.

Step 3In large pot, fry uncooked rice to a light brown. Add Water, Garlic Salt, Onion powder, diced onion, drained sausage, and diced tomatoes. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 4After rice finishes, add Cheese, sour cream, and strips of Pablanos. Add any options at this time. Fold all together, don't mix with too much vigor to protect the texture.
