Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 large
    onion finely chopped
  • 1 large
    green pepper finely chopped
  • 1- 28 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    instant rice
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce

How to Make Spanish Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Put oil, chopped onion and chopped green pepper in a deep skillet till tender.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients to skillet. Cook to boil, then put to a simmer for about 30 minutes or until rice is done and most of the liquid is absorbed.
