    cooked white rice
  • 1
    green bell pepper chopped
  • 1
    onion chopped
  • 1 c
    celery chopped
  • 2
    small cans diced green chilies
  • 3 can(s)
    creamstyle corn
  • 2 1/2 c
    shredded pepper jack or yellow cheese
  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine

How to Make Rice Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute: celery,onions and bell pepper and green chilies in butter or margarine until tender. Mix cooked white rice saute vegetables, creamstyle corn and 2 cups shredded cheese mix well until well blended. Pour into a casserole baking dish. Bake 45 mins at 350 oven. Five mins before casserole is done sprinkle the rest of shredded cheese continue baking until cheese is melted.
