Ingredients

2.5 lbs.
ground beef
1 large
onion, sliced paper thin(or how you like)
2 Tbsp
minced garlic
1 can(s)
rotel tomatoes (whatever heat desired)
1
jalapenos, fresh, minced
1 box
velveeta cheese
3 Tbsp
red chili powder
3 Tbsp
cumin
4 pinch
salt & pepper
.25/.50 c
milk
1 pkg
tortilla chips

How to Make Nacho's Texas style

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown ground beef,onion,and jalapeno. Drain grease in a colander.
  • 2Return to pan.Add garlic,cumin,chili powder,s&p. Heat on low,and stir in spices.Now you have taco meat by the way.No need for the package taco seasoning.This is much better.
  • 3Add Rotel tomatoes,and the Velveeta cheese(cubed).Continue stirring till cheese is melted.If it is to thick,thin with milk.
  • 4When done pour over chips.Also good in Oodles of noodles for kids lunch.I always make fresh guacamole,and pico de gallo to go with it.
