- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 can rotel tomatoes (whatever heat desired)
- 1 - jalapenos, fresh, minced
- 1 box velveeta cheese
- 3 tablespoons red chili powder
- 3 tablespoons cumin
- 4 pinches salt & pepper
- .25/.50 cup milk
- 1 package tortilla chips
How To Make nacho's texas style
-
Step 1Brown ground beef, onion, and jalapeno. Drain grease in a colander.
-
Step 2Return to pan.Add garlic, cumin, chili powder,s&p. Heat on low,and stir in spices. Now you have taco meat by the way.No need for the package taco seasoning. This is much better.
-
Step 3Add Rotel tomatoes, and the Velveeta cheese(cubed).Continue stirring till cheese is melted. If it is to thick, thin with milk.
-
Step 4When done pour over chips. Also good in Oodles of noodles for kids lunch.I always make fresh guacamole, and pico de gallo to go with it.
