Ingredients
- 1/2 pound long grain enriched rice
- 1-8oz can tomato sauce
- 1 small chopped jalapano
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 medium chopped tomato
- 2 packages sozan,goya - con azafran
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 large heaping tablespoons shortning
- 3 cups water
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
How To Make my mexican rice

Step 1in a lg skillet heat shortning, add rice till slightly brown , add choppped onion,jalapano add, all seasonings cook for 3 mins than add chopped tomato, tomato sauce add water cover simmer on very low heat 30 to 40 mins do not stir or peak
