My Favorite Corn Chip Tamale Casserole

1 can(s)tamales (prefer hormel's)
1 can(s)chili with beans (prefer dennison's)
1 - 2green onions, white and green parts - finely sliced
1 - 2 cgrated cheddar cheese (i use mild)
1 to 1 1/2 ccorn chips (such as fritos)
How to Make My Favorite Corn Chip Tamale Casserole
- Remove paper from tamales and place in small baking dish, along with liquid from can. Slice each tamale into 3 - 4 pieces. Sprinkle with half of the chopped green onion.
- Spread chili with beans over the tamales. Sprinkle with rest of green onions. Sprinkle with plenty of cheese!
- Put corn chips in a baggie, and with hands or rolling pin, crush and spread over cheese to cover.
*You can put the cheese on top of the corn chips, but I like the cheese to melt directly onto the beans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until heated through. Serve with condiments of your choice - I use sour cream and taco sauce. A great quick and tasty meal!
