My family loves this pizza.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This is a fun Mexican pizza recipe the whole family will love! The entire Kitchen Crew gobbled this up. The thick layer of refried beans, taco meat and then topped with cheese all melt together to create a yummy pizza. We used the toppings she Lisa suggests, but you could add fresh cilantro, black olives, diced yellow onion...the list is endless.

How To Make mexican pizza

Test Kitchen Tips
We used two rolls to form the basic crust and then used the third roll to make the edges.
  • Step 1
Brown hamburger, drain then add taco seasoning and simmer.
  • Step 2
While that is cooking, prepare your pizza pan with the crescent rolls to make the crust. I leave some dough on the ends to roll over when it's ready to cook.
  • Step 3
Spread one can of refried beans over the raw crust.
  • Step 4
Then add the drained taco season meat.
  • Step 5
Then make a layer of cheese. Then roll the edge of your crust up and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  • Step 6
Once its done put a layer of lettuce in the center and top with sour cream, tomatoes, peppers and green onions (all to taste). Then put your taco sauce over that.
