judy's mind blowing chili
It is Fall time here in Reading, Kansas and nothing like a great big bowl of homemade chili. I so enjoy making this chili since my friends and family enjoy it so much, and believe me they come back for seconds!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 teaspoons olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2-3 - seeded jalapenos, chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced (i use minced garlic in a jar
- 3 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
- 2 6 oz cans tomato paste
- 1 can beer
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 can beef broth
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon each black pepper and salt
- 3-4 15 oz cans kidney beans, drained
- 3-1/2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 2/3 cup salsa, mild, medium or hot
- 1-2 tablespoon hot sauce, i use frank's hot sauce
How To Make judy's mind blowing chili

Step 1Heat oil in a large pot; add your beef, onions, jalapenos and garlic. Cook until meat is brown; drain.

Step 2Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, coffee, beer and beef broth, simmer for ½ hour.

Step 3Add brown sugar and spices, kidney beans, chili sauce, salsa and hot sauce. Let this simmer for about 1 hour. ENJOY!
