Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds oxtails
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 - red pepper
  • 1 - yellow pepper
  • 2 - habanero peppers
  • 1 bunch scallions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 package fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 tablespoon browning sauce
  • 2 cans butter beans

How To Make jamaican style ox tails

  • Step 1
    cut fat off and wash oxtail in vingar and water
  • Step 2
    cut up onion peppers scallions in food processor
  • Step 3
    mix meat vegtable mixture, garlic, garlic salt and pepper and browning sauce and let marinat for 1hour
  • Step 4
    put meat mixture in kettle add water a little over meat. let simmer for 4-6 hours
  • Step 5
    when done add butter beans
