Ingredients
- 1 can #303 can of cream style corn
- 2 - eggs well beaten
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 1/4 -1/2 cup bacon drippings (can sub. with cooking oil)
- MIX AND SET ASIDE
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- MIX AND SET ASIDE
- 1/2 - lb of ground beef
- BROWN MEAT IN SKILLET SEASON WITH A LITTLE GARLIC POWDER AND DRAIN ON PAPER TOWELS
- IN SEPERATE BOWLS OR PILES ON LARGE CUTTING BOARD
- 1 - lg onion chopped fine
- 1/2 - lb shredded longhorn cheese
- 4 - canned jalapeno peppers chopped fine
How To Make jalapeno corn bread with meat

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Grease a large Cast Iron Skillet and place in oven to warm while preparing the batter, meat etc. listed above.

Step 3When all steps are completed sprinkle a little dry corn meal on bottom of the heated skillet and add 1/2 of the batter. Sprinkle cheese, meat, onions, and peppers. Pour the rest of the batter on top.

Step 4Bake till done about an hour. Should be a nice golden brown.
