Just like the enchilada sauce, canned refried beans gave my family upset stomach and gas! So, I played with some pinto's and made my own!

Ingredients
- 3 cups dry pinto beans (rinsed)
- 4 cups water
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 tablespoons crushed garlic
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup enchilada sauce
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
How To Make homemade crockpot refried beans

Step 1Place rinsed pinto beans, diced onion, garlic in crockpot with 5 cups chicken broth. cook on high for 8-9 hours. you'll have to add your 4 cups water durring cooking. drain beans, reserving liquid. Place beans in mixer and add 1 cup reserved liquid. Add enchilada sauce until reach desired consistency. Place back in crockpot cover with grates cheese on low or warm setting until time to serve.
